They are testing it all day plus training new workers on it no word when opening yet. Besides it is better it stays closed as its a good training  experience as its just a heep of scrap

Thanks for the post.

I agree the coasters will in time be replaced and it's likely higher non the list to leave then many other attractions.

We were there last night.  We walked right past it at about 9:30.  No activity at all but it does look impressive and I think it is now a candidate for the title of "World's Most Expensive Lawn Ornament" .  LOL

Goliath is up and running and has had very little down time due to maintenance babying it.

I heard that it valleyed on Saturday, but I am not sure the truth to that. Though I've been told by the park if their is a threat of some Rain they wont open it as the manufacture states to not run it in the rain.  It never rained until night time at my house anyway, but still I ma not sure whats going on with it!

I can get the rain thing but that's why the parks have weather systems to track that sort of thing.

Remember - Goliath - and other Vekoma GIBs for that matter - can’t run in the rain because the catch cars on the towers utilize the brake fins on the train to hoist it, so if the brake fins get wet the catch cars can lose their grip.

Goliath was actually running today, bf got a skip the line pass for it but didn't feel well enough to flip so we skipped it. Didn't seem to have a long line from what I could tell

I didn't see Goliath go down once today.  I think that's a first for me.

Once it was up it stayed up but they have 3 seats that I saw that were locked shut.

The ride itself is horribly rough and in the back painful.

^Yep that is why we never ride it.  Why wait in line to be on a ride that hurts when there are two world class coasters and two others that are fun in the park. I am glad it is open and I hope all the customers wait there instead of in front of me at the other coasters.
