Scream is unique in a way. We still have Riversides original Hellivatore A turbo drop tower. The chain then added in 2 Combo towers when the park was flagged in 2000.  The ride is fun the launch is solid and the drop mode is enjoyable with some nice views if your looking towards the city.  Sadly the park rarely operate the combo mode which offers both a launch then a free fall within the same ride cycle.

Personal thought
After Riding the VR attraction at TGE I actually wish they opted to use the goggles removed from Mind Eraser, now Riddler, and offer the VR drop tower experience. i understand this would have required a reword of the queue line to offer the 2 combo towers separate form the VR drop tower but it was the first VR attraction offered by Six Flags that was actually good.

I enjoy these drop towers, I haven't ridden it yet with the added seatbelt and will probably try on my next visit!

I've also not managed to go on a tower this year. Kids are still a bit nervous about them so we end up skipping it to do something they want to do.

I rode it on my last visit.  Still a fun ride.  IMO the new seatbelt doesn't affect the ride at all.

Did Scream have seat belts added this year?
