I wouldn't hold my breath on that one. Most days a second train isn't even needed.

adding a second train would require the break system to be revamped.  So I doubt we will ever see this at the park!

Same issue with Cannonball and its much more needed there then on thunderbolt.  Thunderbolt is a great fun coaster but it gets a bit lost in the park among so many options.

At HITP 2017 we rode Thunderbolt several times and a couple of times the chain stalled on the lift hill......it would stop and then slowly start back up the hill.....they said something about the cold weather.....anybody know?

I didn't make it to the park that year. I don't recall any trip reports or comments about anything like that happening.  I guess the cold could have affected something. Could have been a safety cut out. something the operator did.

Thunderbolt will be temporarily renamed “Thunder Blues” for the coming week due to a friendly wager between us and SFSTL over the Stanley Cup finals...

Ya, Honestly I don't hate the name. The Bruins boss would have sounded a bit foolish.

If the Bs won, Boss would have been renamed “Boston Boss”.
