Trip Reports / Re: Hershey and Knoebels 6/2

I managed to hit both these parks at the end of July before Wildcat was shut down. Both parks are great and had a lot of fun but 1 day at either park isn't enough I must have missed a half dozen or more rides at both parks. It was my first real road trip, multiple day with overnights in close to 20 years.

Membership is definitely gone but as of the last call attendance is down. This new pas offering seem to be a big reason.

It's hard to say. Nothing in 2023 would be a shame. Not unless they announced 20-30 Million company wide for capital improvements.  The park needs a lot of work even to attract "Target" customers

I feel they need to get rid of parks and into aquire any especially with the current CEO, some of his ideas are great but poor execution!
Let me suggest they sell TGE to Palace Ent. I would welcome another Nearby park on the platinum pass.

Six Flags have been hovering around signage for year even after they removed the looney toons characters. While I would generally doubt it, given the new CEO's we want family ideas It might be back on the table as an example of what he wants.

We are still hiring and can always use employees at both locations, but we got a lot of staff! As always people flake out and can't handle it as they get into the first couple of weekends lol

In any case, we open on the 24th, and the detail in this Attraction impressed me! I hope that Everybody comes through and gets to see how great it is and way better than anything Six Flags has produced!

With all the news coming down the pipeline with the CEO after the second quarter results, I think it's going to be a couple of years before we see anything come to the park! with nothing coming in 2023 chainwide, the price increases, I believe Six Flags is going to have some down years! I guess it's gotta get worse before it gets better!

What do you guys think?
