Graveyard
« on: March 24, 2021, 04:43:39 am »
Screamscape is reporting that after 30 years at LC, the Haunted Graveyard will be moving to a new location for 2021.  I can only speculate that the early closure of LC during the Covid problems of 2020, that blocked the Graveyard from having a 2020 season, may have lead to this change.  Anybody know where they are going?

The Haunted Graveyard web site states they are moving - - but does not indicate a new location.

Not sure if they have a new location fully locked in.  It will be interesting to see how the attraction performs on its own and what LC does to replace it.  at over 2 hours to get to most of CT I doubt I will ever be visiting Haunted Graveyard again.

Yeah, location will be a big thing. I know with myself working at a haunted attraction now, for me to get to haunts will be a bit more tougher than before, but I still have a team of people still going to do reviews and stuff!

At least you have things in place to keep things going.

When I visited last year I saw a lot of small effects that really make the attraction stand out when I visited a decade ago was not working last year. So I hope those effects are repaired when it relocates.

IM sure it will, they may have left the stuff or taken it and started from scratch, not sure, but if they were smart, id start from scratch on both sides of the haunt between graveyard and Lake Compounce!

I wouldn't mind seeing a few of the effects left behind. but I would suspect the more complex ones would be relocated if they could.
