Apparently Cedar Fair owned more land on the other side of the road from SeaWorld/Wildwater Kingdom and looks like construction will begin on a housing development over there. Still nothing on park proper though.

According to the SEA earnings call, it looks like they want to aqquire smaller amusement parks and Water Parks to turn into Sesame Places, as well as manage hotels.

Top locations:
-Texas, there used to be one near Over Texas. However, I say Houston as they only have two (albeit seemingly awesome) boardwalk parks.
-Ohio, maybe they could take back Geauge Lake or do something with the Columbus Zoo.
-Acquire Parque Sesamo in Monterrey,  I think this would be a good test to expand internationally (possibly Canada)
-Acquire Schlitterbahn Kansas City, I think this is a big risk but I think PA for the North East; SoCal; Florida w/ SeaWorld Orlando; and TX for the South a mid-west option is a good one.
-If things go Well: Washington State, Ontario, and another in the deep south might work.

Interesting news. I think it would be a good idea to buy other small parks to make more sesame places as long as they don't take over a park that is truly iconic that could backfire.

I agree they should buy the Kansas City property. that property has enough room that outside fo the water park, which should first be rebranded, They could build both a sesame place and a Busch Gardens.

I also like the idea of Rebuildingon the Guarga lake property. I think locals would love to see a park return but if they do this they should make a point to add in a small Geauga Lake inspired area on top of the sesame place. thing Seaworld Orland but instead of sea world you rebuild a properly sized GL
 park section.

I don't think we will see New SeaWorlds/Busch Gardens unless its like the Dubai project or acquire a major park that can easily be swapped over. I can only think of Marineland in Ontario in that regard. I'd consider dropping the Busch name so I don't have to pay InBev the royalties to stave off bankruptcy, but I don't run SeaWorld.

I get your point though Marineland would do batter as a Seaworld since it's already a marine life park. but From what I hear Marineland won't be going away anytime soon.

I can see at least one more Busch Gardens but what I was proposing was not an all in year one sort of thing. They already would have the water park the sesame place would be an easy build-up at a much lower cost.  A second bigger park would be further down the line.

It was worth going to florida when we did with minimal lines, minimal people and had a blast! Then being a crazy person and stepping off the plane go home for like an hour and go to 13th World that day and work lol

Did you know there's an old superstation about leaving Christmas decorations up after Three Kings Day/Epiphany?

I've heard of Epiphany but no Superstitions surrounding it.  but generally out decorations don't last a week past new years.
