Universal Resort Orlando
« on: August 01, 2019, 11:13:52 am »
The new park is finally official! Very excited to see how this goes with it being a good distance between the existing Universal Orlando Resort. Will be fun to watch the construction of this park and what rides it will have.

This is a really cool announcement. I do wish that it had come with a bit more information.  Tut it will be a project that will be very fun to watch.

Just need to wait on see how Super Nintendo land works, the Mario Kart and Yoishi rides are probably Screen: the Ride.

P.S. Secret Life of Pets at Hollywood apperently uses the same ride system as the Yoishi ride, so that scraps my idea for Secret Life of Pets to replace Spider-Man in Japan.

The rumor of a new Dueling Dragons in this park has me excited.  DD and Volcano are the most missed coasters on our list. This could be amazing! I know it is at least 4 years away but I am hopeful.

There is an area with some sort fo Sit down dueling/racing coaster, but I doubt we will see Dueling Dragons added again.  But the map seems more of a teaser so who really knows what is going on.

I wouldn't be surprised if a Super Nintendo World is added as well as How to Train your Dragon.

If they were to actually rebuild them the way they were with extra safety to duel again that would be the greatest thing Universal could do!

Universal has applied to state and local government boards to reopen to the public on June 5.  The plan would be to have staff report June 1, Season pass holders event June 4 and full public June 5.  No response from the government yet - so stay tuned.
