Quassy reopening
« on: May 23, 2020, 03:49:37 pm »
The Sate of CT has moved amusement parks into Phase 2.  Phase 2 s slat3d for June 20 and Quassy has announced they will open that day.  Not much on new rules/regulations yet.  So I am sure much more to come.  Gotta believe LC won't be far behind.

I'm more curious about how they plant to keep people out that shouldn't be in. They have no encing so without adding it they can't restrict who and how many are threat one time.

It will be interesting.  Fun Spot and other places in FL that have the same access model as Quassy are already open.  Family Kingdom in Myrtle Beach is another similar situation and is opening June 1.

I am thinking they can limit attendance by limiting access to the parking lot.  They opened today.  Did anyone go?  I would love to hear a report on how they operated.

I guess that's one way to do it as long as people don't come with too many larger vehicles.

I'm also curious is anyone went.

We went this morning.  Quassy did a great job.  And of course, club members followed the rules.  Everyone had the masks on and maintained the six feet distance.  Some groups were close but I assumed they arrived together.  Quassy loaded the trains to maintain distance and we used our hand sanitizer after each ride.  It was a couple of hours of fun where there hasn't been much this season and we felt safe.
