There would be better options. standard Flying Swing gets much better capacity.  it loads faster also.  There also another style of rides that are still tower systems that would do far more for the park.

There was a period of time I wanted a Chance Aviator, but I’ve shied away from that after a while.

Did you ever get on one? Chance still offers the ride.  I think they would be most likely to approve a ride 80ft or lower since that would be under the tree line of the hill.

No, I’ve never been on one.

I don’t know why I fell away from the idea I just kinda did.  Have you done guys any?  Would it be better than a Starflyer for Great Escape?

I think a Starflyer where trapeze is would be awesome. It wouldn't even need to be that tall with the hill it would seem way higher. Or where the balloon race used to be.

I don’t think Balloon Race’s pad is large enough, but if it can go there it’d be great.

It's not large enough.

The problem is they would have to massively build up the land around it to fit it and it would take an expensive ride and make it even more expensive.  Would end up being nearly impossible to recoup the invetment.

The "ice rink" at SFNE was during 2018 HITP on the one weekend of Ice Fest.  We went that weekend and saw it.  It was a joke.  The ice was some kind of plastic material, and the skates really wouldn't glide thru much.  People were out there moving around but I wouldn't call it skating.  LOL  If I had paid for it I would have asked for a refund.

Does anyone know if Great Escape was at Eastcoaster?  Did they show any off season stuff or make any announcements for the 2020 season?
