Discus trips in the days before the park became SFNE. Old photos would be nice to see as well
I do not remember much before except how much more intense Cyclone use to be and the Ferris Wheel.
Wicked Cyclone is better than Steel Vengeance

I'll share more about specific ride later.

My first and only Riverside trip was back in 1996 just before My family was transferred down to GA.  I had heard of the park for a while my brother and I asked to go a lot but it was bumped for easier trips to Canobie, Besnson's and The family parks in the mountains (hit while camping in the area).  We pretty much convinced them to use a trip t Riverside s a big family vacation thing even though it was a day trip.

Like I said I'll talk about The big rides later but the park itself was interesting.  first Low scale park we had to deal with that charged for parking. I thin it was like $10 for a dirt parking lot that was located in what is not the water park. Pretty sure cost us the same to park at BGW. I thought it was cool that had a racetrack on property.  Ride selection was pretty good with some good thrill rides and A few unique rides like the mono rail and Boat cruise. But the park itself felt a but Dumpy.

I mean they really put a lot of effort into adding rides but a few didn't seem kept us and The park itself didn't have much effort put into it. Perhaps I was a bit jaded by park experience to date have been the NH park's Benson's, Storyland, Santa's Village, Canobie which all put in a good amount of effort int the parks look and feel , its landscaping, etc. Then bigger trips to Disney, BGW, SFOG. but I don't recreate visiting. I fallowed the park while living in GA and saw its expansion in the late 90's I almost visited in 99 but some late October bad weather messed up those plans.

Didn’t have any, but tried to when my wife & I were still dating after we heard radio ads about what evolved into Scream. Money kept falling short, and then the idea of visiting an amusement park fell off the radar for a few years.

I remember going as a kid, so much fun! Does anybody remember the Lazer show basically where Villian snacks are now in Gotham that played Beatles Music?
