Six Flags Layoffs
« on: October 16, 2020, 08:22:33 pm »
Screamscape is reporting that SFI will be laying off 10% of the full time staff as a result of Covid.  They seemed to have some inside info that the majority of the layoffs would be in the various parks PR and marketing areas and also the Corporate Group Marketing staff.

This pandemic sucks.

Of course, but that doesn't make it any less painful for our friends at SFNE.

It does suck seeing anybody in any industry get laid off. Once we get out of this pandemic fingers crossed that they hire more people back! It's going to take a few years to get back to where they were before the pandemic, but I think once it's gone more and more people are going to come once they can truly enjoy the park!

Yikes, looks like yesterday was a tough day for a few Six Flags park presidents.

Park Presidents at Six Flags New England, Great Adventure, America, Over Georgia and St. Louis were all let go.

More news when we know more. #SixFlags $SIX
