I'm excited for them but haven't watched any of the games. If they make the Finals i will make a point to watch.

Bruins win today 6-2, leading the conference semifinals series 2-0. Another step closer to completing the trifecta!

Championship Sweep would have been nice, but a trifecta still ain’t a bad feat - we’ll still take it!

There has not been a trifecta since Detroit in 1935.  It is very rare and it has never happened in NY, Chicago, SF or LA even though they have multiple teams in all or some sports!

I recently read a story about being a sports fan and the conclusion was is can be very disappointing and heart breaking to be a fan unless you were born in the Boston area in the early 90's.  The 20 years of their fandom has been nothing less than incredible.  6 Super Bowl wins, 4 World Series wins, 1 NBA championship, and 1 Stanley Cup and now just four wins away from another which would complete the trifecta!

I was wondering if or when that has even happened and then read your post.

I am excited to see the next let of the series.  just need to keep practicing to keep fresh but they have an upper hand having time to relax and focus while they wait for the other side to wrap up.

One win down - three to go!  The Bruins started slow but by early in the 2nd period and for the balance of the game it was pretty much Bruins domination as they won going away.  It appeared the Bruins were a little more quick, a little more tough, and a little more skilled than the Blues.  That combination will usually equal wins.  It has been over 100 days since the last Duck Boat parade.  Boston is feeling deprived!!  LOL  Go Bruins!!

This series has certainly not gone as expected or planned.  But it is not too late to salvage it with a win tonight in St Louis and then a return to Boston for a decisive game 7.  GO BRUINS!!

I personally didn't plan anything. I know I was not expecting a shut out.  Overall I've found it exciting.  Looking forward to a win on Wednesday.

Be prepared to shell out a boatload of $$$ if you want to go to Game 7, ticket starting price is a whopping $1750, way too rich for my blood...
