Honestly, I think a lot of people may or may not go if you have to take a test to go! some people just can't get to get a test and get results quick enough to go, it might help people, but for me, if nobody has the virus, I would expect that you wouldn't have to wear masks in the park, if not it's not really serving its purpose. people don't want to go because they are afraid and do not want to wear a mask. I'd honestly stop going until all mandates are gone

I 2-4 days a week spend hours wearing a mask so a day at the park wearing one doesn't bother me I did it twice to visit Canobie. but I agree if you're getting tested why should you be required to wear a mask. I do think they should have some extra social distancing in lines. I did answer that I might not be comfortable sitting next to a stranger on a ride.

But what it failed to mention is if you have the vaccine do you still need a test.  They talk about the quick test. They weren't too clean about if they intended to have that available at the gates. It's what they seem to be implying. Though they kept saying $5 but a restaurant in, I think It's, Canada is requiring a test to dine, and the onsite quick test in $30. The ABBOT quick self-tests arn't as accurate and I have not seen the costs yet.

I got a new survey today.  It asked opinions on potential special events at SF such as Ren Faires, Parking Lot Movies, Car Shows, E game tournaments, Dinosaurs Alive show, etc.  Looks like they know they still won't be allowed to open the regular operations at many parks next spring.

I got a survey but haven't had a chance to look. I imagine it's the same one you are talking about. If they can't reopen I imagine A drive-in event might be a hit for them. I'm not sure how many of the other options would help. Maybe the Dinos if it was a drive-through attraction.

I got it as well but a little different. Mine had walk through food festivals, car show / comedy show, winter fright fest and a projection type show. Also asked for ideas.

A winter fright fest or a winter-themed haunt along with the Holiday lights would be nice but the rest is nothing special. nothing that would convince me to drive over 2 hours.

but I'm hoping that come next winter all this insanity will be in the rearview.

Expect to see more restaurants from FAT Brands over the next few years.
https://www.fatbrands.com/

Starbucks will be at most parks.

Was there some sort of agreement signed with Six Flags and them?

I don't really get the point. Out of the list on the site I have only heard of 2 companies outside of Johnny Rockets and While Hot Dog on a Stick might work well I don't see a Ponderosa Buffet working in the park.

If the goal is to have fresh pretzels or better burgers just do it why pay someone else a royalty just to have an unknown brand.  It's like the whole Pinks hotdogs at LC. it's an unknown brand in this area so it's really not a helpful addition.
